Dr. Kris Sornberger, DO, works with people of all ages – newborns, kids and adults. In addition to family medicine, he sub-specializes in the osteopathic hands-on therapies, like Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, or OMT. OMT is a holistic approach to treatment and pain relief, and encompasses about half of Dr. Sornberger’s practice. His hands-on therapies integrate techniques for the myofascial and ligamentous structures of the body, as well as the cranial areas, through joint and muscle movement, including stretching, gentle pressure, and resistance. He also utilizes traditional high velocity hands-on techniques in order to help mobilize vertebral joints, among other things.
