Dr. Michele Broadhurst’s chiropractic practice involves a variety of treatment approaches and adjustments to the spine and other areas of the body in order to help improve alignment and movement, alleviate pain, and assist in the body’s healing process. She treats all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics and everyone in between.
Originally from South Africa, Dr. Broadhurst graduated from Chiropractic College in South Africa in 2003. She then went on to qualify as an International Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician in 2004. Together with her husband, Dr. Antony Angus, ran a successful multidisciplinary practice in Cape Town South Africa for over a decade. Their family practice specialized in Chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture and myofascial pain. In 2008, Dr. Broadhurst qualified as an animal chiropractor in and specialized in dogs and thoroughbred race and stud horses. Dr. Broadhurst and her husband moved to Maine in December 2017 and are very grateful to be here. She is currently re-certifying in Chiropractic acupuncture and hope to introduce this as a pain relief option at PCHC in early 2019. Outside of the office, Dr. Broadhurst enjoys snowboarding and CrossFit, and lives in Carmel with her husband and two mastiffs.
