Kernjeet Sandhu, MD, Joins Penobscot Community Health Center
Penobscot Community Health Care (PCHC) is pleased to announce that Kernjeet Sandhu, MD, has joined the medical staff of PCHC’s Penobscot Community Health Center, 1012 Union Street, Bangor. Dr. Sandhu’s practice centers on all aspects of high-quality medical care, including patient physicals, acute visits, and health care maintenance.
Kernjeet Sandhu, MD, an undergraduate of the University of Winnipeg, received her Doctor of Medicine Degree from Windsor University. Prior to joining Penobscot Community Health Care, Dr. Sandhu completed the Maine Dartmouth Family Practice Residency Program and also served as a Medicine Instructor at Windsor University. Robert Allen, MD, PCHC’s Executive Medical Director, states, “Dr. Kernjeet Sandhu is a dynamic and caring physician who will provide excellent care and service to our patients.”
Dr. Sandhu has a special interest in tropical medicine and returns to India each year where she continues to serve her patients there. Dr. Sandhu also has interests in Sports Medicine, Women’s Health, and Integrative Medicine, and is seeing patients at Penobscot Community Health Center; for an appointment please call 945-5247.
