What is the PCHC Foundation?
The PCHC Foundation supports the charitable mission of Penobscot Community Health Care by investing in the people, programs, spaces, and services that make quality health care possible.
Through the Foundation, donors strengthen access to whole-person care across the communities PCHC serves, from primary care and prevention to dental, behavioral health, recovery support, housing-connected care, and more.

Across the communities PCHC serves, barriers like cost, distance, provider shortages, insurance gaps, housing instability, and long waits can prevent people from getting the health care they need.
Care Is Harder to Find
Provider availability is one of the top health priorities in the communities PCHC serves. PCHC helps keep whole-person care possible for patients who may have few other options.
Dental Care Is Healthcare
Too many children and adults are going without dental care. PCHC is expanding access so more people can get care before dental pain becomes crisis.
Mental Health Matters
Many Mainers struggle to get mental health support they need. PCHC offers integrated counseling, medication management, and other mental health services.
Secure Housing Is Health
Housing instability makes every health challenge harder. PCHC helps people facing homelessness and housing instability access care, dignity, and stability.
