Aaron Ballman Joins PCHC Board of Directors
We are pleased to announce that Mr. Aaron Ballman, Software Security Engineer, CERT, has joined its Board of Directors. Ms. Jennifer Eastman, Esq., PCHC Board Chair, states, “We are pleased to welcome Aaron as our newest Board member. Aaron is a young professional with extensive software expertise and we are pleased that he has volunteered to help support PCHC’s mission.”
Prior to joining CERT in 2013, Mr. Ballman served as Senior Software Engineer for X-Rite, as well as Software Engineer for 4D and Lead Programmer/Compiler Architect for REAL Software. A native of Sartell, Minnesota, Mr. Ballman received his undergraduate degree from St. Cloud State University, graduating Cum Laude. He moved to Maine in 2012 and resides with his wife in Greenbush.
Mr. Ballman was elected in 2014 by the Central Maine Derby league to serve as referee and non-skating official (NSO) liaison for the league’s Board of Directors. He also represents Carnegie Mellon University as a voting member of the ANSI and ISO C++ programming language committees (PL22.16/WG21).
As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), PCHC’s Board of Directors serves as its governing body, responsible for financial oversight, strategic planning, defining mission and services, and ensuring compliance with legal and financial requirements, among other responsibilities.
