Philip Higgins, Jr., DMD, to Provide Dental Care at Helen Hunt Health Center
We are pleased to announce that Philip Higgins, Jr., DMD, has joined the dental staff of Helen Hunt Dental Center (HHHC) and will begin seeing patients in August 2016. Dr. Higgins is an experienced dentist and we are grateful that he will now provide dental care for the Old Town community.
Dr. Higgins received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts in 1979, and participated in post-doctoral training in General Dentistry at Maine Medical Center. Prior to joining Helen Hunt Dental Center, Dr. Higgins had served as PCHC’s Chief Dental Officer and General Practice Dental Residency Director since 2012.
Noah Nesin, MD, FAAFP, Vice President of Medical Affairs, states, “Dr. Higgins has been an outstanding Chief Dental Officer and has achieved very significant success with quality, financial and collaboration initiatives during his tenure. Helen Hunt Health Center is open seven days per week and in addition to dental care offers family medical care, Walk-In Care, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Podiatry, and X-ray.
