A Statement Regarding Reproductive Health Care

Reproductive health care is a human right. Today’s Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe vs. Wade, which for 50 years was settled law protecting a woman’s constitutional right to abortion, jeopardizes the health and well-being of women in this country, threatens disproportionately the lives and health of low-income women and women of color, and marks a very dangerous turn for public health. While PCHC does not provide abortion services, we will continue to provide other reproductive care and counseling services to all, in the best interest of the women and families we serve and support rational public health policy.

A third party technology provider for PCHC is experiencing a widespread service interruption. This impacts online payment processing, eligibility verification and claims processing for some insurance providers. Online payments cannot be processed at this time. Patients can make payments by calling our Billing Department directly at (207) 404-8200 option 3. We are working to find alternative ways to serve our patients in the case that this continues to be an issue. We will continue to update our patients as we learn more.
