Community Forum on Aging Planned for October 14th

Speaker of the House Mark Eves will hold a Community Forum on Aging October 14th at PCHC’s Brewer Medical Center, 735 Wilson Street, Brewer, to hear from area seniors and community leaders on his aging initiative “KeepME Home”. Bangor area legislators, along with the Mayors of Bangor and Brewer, will also be in attendance.

Speaker Eves will talk about his KeepME Home Initiative and a broader effort to address the state’s aging challenges. He wants to hear from community leaders and seniors about successful efforts and challenges to helping seniors live independently in the Bangor and Brewer area.

“We are traveling around the state to grow momentum for our plan to help seniors live independently and age with dignity. For so many seniors in our state that means being able to age in place in their homes and communities”, said Eves of North Berwick. “Bangor and Brewer are key communities with a thriving older population. These cities are at the heart of our state’s aging trends.”
