Megan A. Sanders, Esq., Named PCHC General Counsel
We are pleased to announce that Megan A. Sanders, Esq., currently PCHC’s Vice President of Human Resources and Associate General Counsel has been named Vice President of Human Resources and General Counsel of the organization. Ms. Sanders, who has served PCHC since 2016, replaces Lori Dwyer, Esq., who was named PCHC President and CEO on September 1.
Lori Dwyer, Esq., President and CEO, states, “Megan is incredibly smart, collaborative, strategic, and persistent in her drive to find innovative solutions to complex issues for PCHC. We are lucky to have her in this expanded role and look forward to working with her for many years to come.”
Prior to joining PCHC, Ms. Sanders served as an employment attorney and litigator at Preti Flaherty in Portland, Maine. Thereafter, Ms. Sanders served at the University of Maine as Chief of Staff to President Susan J. Hunter, Ph.D. and Vice President for Human Resources. Ms. Sanders has over 10 years of progressively responsible leadership and service in health care, higher education, and the practice of law, and will provide legal counsel and risk management oversight for PCHC, as well as oversee all human resources functions.

Ms. Sanders received her undergraduate degree from Bates College, Lewiston, Maine, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law, Portland, Maine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She is a member of the Maine Law Foundation Alumni Engagement Committee, and a former Interim Director, RSU 26 School Board.
