PCHC Names 2017 Clinical & Non-Clinical Employees of the Year
We are pleased to announce that Maggie Vance, CPhT, Prescription Refill Specialist at Penobscot Community Health Center, and Abagail Smith, Housing Navigator at Hope House Health & Living Center, were named PCHC’s 2017 Clinical and Non-Clinical Employees of the Year!
Employees of the Year at PCHC are chosen for embodying the finest spirit, mission, and values of PCHC, which include patient-centered care, respect, passion, quality, innovation, and collaboration.

PCHC hosted Employee Appreciation BBQs during the month of August to thank its 750 employees who provide high-quality, compassionate health care for 65,000 patients. The Employee Recognition Events provide an opportunity for senior leaders to thank employees from across the organization. During the events, 100 employees received awards for their dedicated service to PCHC. Twenty-three employees were chosen as Employees of the Year from their respective practices and departments. Maggie and Abagail were named PCHC’s 2017 Clinical and Non-Clinical Employees of the Year from this group of outstanding employees.
PCHC employees are committed to quality and safety for their patients and have demonstrated this by earning AAHC Accreditation and the highest levels of national certification by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as Patient Centered Medical Homes.
