PCHC Names 2018 Clinical & Non-Clinical Employees of the Year
Penobscot Community Health Care (PCHC) is pleased to announce that Wuanita Elkins, Patient Service Representative at Capehart Community Health Center, and Danielle Reardon, MHRT, Clubhouse Unit Coordinator at Unlimited Solutions Clubhouse, were named PCHC’s 2018 Non-Clinical and Clinical Employees of the Year!
Employees of the Year at PCHC are chosen for embodying the finest spirit, mission, and values of PCHC, which include patient-centered care, respect, passion, quality, innovation, and collaboration.

Wuanita and Danielle each feel empathy, practice humility, and are always seeking ways to improve. PCHC hosted Employee Appreciation BBQs during the months of July and August to thank its more than 750 employees who provide high-quality, compassionate health care for 65,000 patients. The Employee Recognition Events provide an opportunity for senior leaders to thank employees from across the organization. During the events, over 100 employees received awards for their dedicated service to PCHC. Twenty-three employees were chosen as Employees of the Year from their respective practices and departments. Wuanita and Danielle were named PCHC’s 2018 Non-Clinical and Clinical Employees of the Year from this group of outstanding employees.
Wuanita and Danielle were recognized by their co-workers for their dedication to PCHC’s mission, their willingness to go above and beyond on a daily basis to best meet patient and member needs, and for exceptional relationship building with internal, external, business, and community partners.
