Samantha Gilligan grew up in the Greater Portland area and went to Mount Holyoke College where she studied dance and chemistry. She attended Columbia University for nursing school and NP training. During her time there, she worked in a women’s health clinic and focused her clinical training on at-risk adolescents and adults in opioid recovery programs. She is thrilled to return to Maine and enjoys spending her time outdoors hiking, biking, and sailing with her fiancé and their dog, Simon.
