See & Smile Event April 8th at PCHC Dental Center
Penobscot Community Health Care (PCHC) and Bangor Housing are hosting a “See & Smile” Informational Event and Tour of PCHC’s Dental Center on Tuesday, April 8th 6-7:30pm. Transportation to and from PCHC Dental Center located at 1048 Union Street, Bangor will be available at the Bangor Housing Community Center, 161 Davis Road, Bangor. Children are welcome at this family-friendly event which includes a tour of the dental center, meet and greet with staff, healthy snacks, electric toothbrush raffle ($125 value), and information on dental services for the whole family, as well as affordable care options. The “See & Smile” Event evolved from the collaborative efforts of PCHC, the Bangor School Department and Bangor Housing Authority, to ensure that area school age children had access to quality dental care. The groups are working together to coordinate dental appointments and eliminate barriers to care by providing transportation for the children directly from school.
PCHC Dental Center is the largest public or private dental practice north of Boston, as well as Maine’s only Accredited Community General Practice Dental Residency.
