The Hope House Health and Living Center
The Hope House Health and Living Center, located at 179-181 Corporate Drive in Bangor, includes three distinct services for homeless and peri-homeless individuals in our community, all under one roof: the Hope House Health Center, the Hope House Emergency Shelter (operated by Preble Street), and Hope House Transitional Housing.
Hope House Health Center
At the Hope House Health Center, we provide integrated medical and mental health services to homeless and peri-homeless individuals. Hope House Transitional Housing
Encouraging healthy living, the Hope House Transitional Housing helps people move toward self-sufficiency and successful independent living. Each tenant is given the chance to develop and work on personal, independent living goals in a positive, safe and supportive environment. Our Transitional Housing features 48 private rooms and access to on-site laundry, a community kitchenette, shared common rooms, and more. We offer both wrap around services and integrated health care through the Hope House Health Center to help tenants develop stability as well as prepare them for independent housing. Transitional Housing is short-term, up to 24 months, and works to help tenants overcome barriers to successful, permanent housing in the community.
