Laurie Yntema, MD, Geriatrician Joins PCHC’s Community Care & Geriatrics
We are pleased to announce that Laurie Yntema, MD, has joined the medical staff of PCHC’s Community Care & Geriatrics, whose multi provider team serves patients in area nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, or for in-home visits. Dr. Yntema’s practice centers on all aspects of high-quality geriatric care.
Dr. Yntema received her undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College, Swarthmore, PA, and both her Master of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Vermont, Burlington, VT. Dr. Yntema completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Maine Medical Center, Portland, ME. Prior to joining Penobscot Community Health Care, Dr. Yntema served as primary care internal medicine physician at Ellsworth Internal Medicine.
