Penny Lamhut, MD, Joins Community Care & Geriatrics
Penny Lamhut, MD, has joined the medical staff of PCHC’s Community Care and Geriatrics whose multi provider team serves patients in area nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, or for in-home visits. Dr. Lamhut’s practice centers on all aspects of high-quality geriatric medical care, including patient physicals, acute visits, and health care maintenance.
Penny Lamhut, MD, received both her undergraduate and her Medical Degree from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Prior to joining Penobscot Community Health Care, Dr. Lamhut served as a Geriatrician in private practice. Robert Allen, MD, PCHC’s Executive Medical Director, states, “PCHC is proud that Penny Lamhut, MD, has joined Community Care and Geriatrics. Dr. Lamhut is the Medical Director of the Dirigo Pines Retirement Community, is Board Certified in Geriatrics, and is also a Certified Medical Director. Dr. Lamhut is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice and certified as Medical Director by the American Medical Directors Association.
