Amy Freeman, MBA, Joins PCHC Board of Directors
Amy Freeman, MBA, Senior Commercial Credit Analyst, People’s United Bank, has joined PCHC’s Board of Directors. Jennifer Eastman, Esq., PCHC Board Chair, states, “We are so pleased that Amy has joined our Board of Directors. Amy brings a wealth of experience in both healthcare and finance, and will be a great asset to PCHC and an advocate for patients.”
Ms. Freeman has been employed with People’s United Bank since 2011 and worked for Northeast Cardiology Associates prior to that time. Ms. Freeman received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maine and her Masters of Business Administration from Husson University. She currently serves as Finance Cabinet Chair for United Way of Eastern Maine’s 2013 Campaign, has volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine, and was a member of the Bangor Region Leadership Institute, Class of 2012.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), PCHC’s Board of Directors serves as its governing body, responsible for financial oversight, strategic planning, defining mission and services, and ensuring compliance with legal and financial requirements, among other responsibilities.
