Unlimited Solutions Clubhouse Receives $9,500 Grant
The Unlimited Solutions Clubhouse recently received a $9,500 grant from the Maine Community Foundation to support food service vocational training for the Clubhouse. With this grant, Clubhouse members will receive training on food safety, customer service, and other aspects of the food service industry, as well as produce a video of the trainings. The vocational trainings will greatly help Clubhouse members apply for and successfully obtain food-industry jobs.
“We are very thankful to Maine Community Foundation for providing funding for this great opportunity for our members at Unlimited Solutions,” said Carrie Lemos, Executive Director of Unlimited Solutions Clubhouse. “The members are excited to get started with this training and look forward to gainful employment in the food service industry in the near future.”
Opened in 2012, the Unlimited Solutions Clubhouse is a community of people who are working together to achieve a common goal – recovery from mental illness. During the course of their participation in the Clubhouse, members gain access to opportunities to rejoin the worlds of friendships, family, employment and education, and to the services and support they may individually need to continue their recovery.
