Warren Shearer, MD, Joins Penobscot Community Health Center

We are pleased to announce that Warren Shearer, MD, has joined the medical staff of PCHC’s Penobscot Community Health Center (PCHCenter), 1012 Union Street, Bangor, and will serve as Medical Director of the practice. Dr. Shearer’s practice centers on all aspects of high-quality medical care, including patient physicals, acute visits, health care maintenance, and with a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of dermatology related medical problems.

Dr. Shearer received his undergraduate degree from Gordon College, Wenham, Massachusetts and his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia, followed by a medical residency at Eastern Maine Medical Center Family Practice Residency. Prior to joining Penobscot Community Health Care, Dr. Shearer served as an Outpatient Family Physician for 3 years at the West Enfield, Maine office of Health Access Network in Lincoln, Maine, then one year as a full time Emergency physician at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital in Blue Hill, Maine, and most recently has spent the last 2 years at St. Joseph Family Medicine in Hampden.

Noah Nesin, MD, FAAFP, Vice President of Medical Affairs, states, “Dr. Shearer is an experienced family physician who provides excellent and compassionate care for his patients. We are excited to have him joining our team of providers at PCHCenter, and serving as medical director there. He is an important addition to the clinical leadership of PCHC.”
